SUMMARY
The guitar seems endlessly versatile. It is played all over the world with different shapes of body and types of strings. It is used for just about every genre of music, blues, rock, flamenco, and classical, just to name a few. Justin Davis, skilled guitarist (and resident of Auburn), has put together a program for guitar and string quartet including works by Astor Piazzola, Joseph Haydn, and Luigi Boccherini.
